Edit the Work’s Unique Process: We make writing college essays easy for students. We have a constructive approach that doesn’t require worksheets or other busy work. Through gently guided questioning, we work with the students to find the personal and authentic story which will position them for maximum college admissions success. All revisions are approached as a collaboration between the student and the essay expert. We understand the stress and aim to greatly reduce it.

PACKAGES
All packages include an initial discussion, during which we will find the student’s stories/themes for the Common Application personal statement and/or supplemental essays, depending on the chosen package. The student will then receive an outline for the personal statement and/or guidance on how to write the supplemental essays. Includes up to three (3) revisions with written comments, advice, and direction provided via email.
Ten School Package/ From Start to Finish: Includes support for one (1) personal statement and supplemental essays for up to ten (10) schools – $6,500. Supplemental essays only – $5,000
Five School Package/ From Start to Finish: Includes support for one (1) personal statement and supplemental essays for up to five (5) schools – $4,500. Supplemental essays only – $3,000
One School Package/ From Start to Finish: Perfect for ED and EA applicants! Includes support for one (1) personal statement plus one (1) school’s supplemental essays – $2,500
Florida School Package: Includes one (1) personal statement plus supplemental essay support – $2,250. Supplemental essays only – $600. Honors College essay (per school) – $100
A LA CARTE COLLEGE ESSAYS
Personal Statement Essay/ From Start to Finish: Includes one (1) 60-minute discussion, during which we will discover the student’s story. The student will then receive an outline based on the conversation which will make it easy for them to write the essay. Includes up to three (3) revisions with written comments, advice, and direction via email – $1,800
Personal Statement Essay/ The Finisher: Ideal for the student who has already completed a draft of their personal statement. After the student submits their essay draft, they receive written notes on how to improve their essay. The student then may schedule one (1) 30-60 minute discussion. Also includes one (1) additional essay revision with written comments, advice, and direction via email – $850
Additional Reviews: Includes one (1) additional revision provided via email, with written comments, advice, and direction. OR one (1) 30-45 minute phone or Zoom conversation to go over the reviewed essay or resume. Does not include essay outline or revisions. $150 (per review or call).
Supplemental College Essay Includes one (1) 30-minute discussion to provide direction. Includes valuable tips on how to best answer a prompt. Also includes up to three (3) essay reviews with written comments, advice, and direction for each essay.
For one (1) essay:
- 1-300 words $400
- 301-649 words $500
- 650+ words $600
For two+ (2+) essays:
- 1-300 words $350/essay
- 301-649 words $450/essay
- 650+ words $550/essay
ADDITIONAL
Rush fee: All essays in October for November deadlines, and December for January deadlines – 10% surcharge. For work needed within 24-hours: 20% surcharge
- All discussions may be done via Zoom or phone, or in person in our Miami Beach, Florida, office.
- All payment must be provided in full before the commencement of work.
- Student deadlines are mutually approved in advance. Edit the Work is not responsible for completing work submitted by students past approved deadlines.
- All purchases must be used within a three-month time period.
- Edit the Work will charge an additional fee if student’s word count goes over 20% of what was asked. (Student will be informed in advance to cut as desired.)
- Edit the Work experts require a minimum of two (2) business days for essay review.
