Aimee Heller is Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Edit the Work. She is an award-winning advertising copywriter with a Master’s degree in Education. Most recently, Aimee worked at the University of Miami. She has also spent over five years working with students at International College Counselors, improving their essays for both their classes and their applications. Unlike other writers, she is great at capturing a student’s unique voice and tailoring papers to each student. Her Mensa IQ and broad knowledge of different subject matters gives her the extraordinary ability to work on papers that range from art history and film to women’s studies, English, history, philosophy and more. For 25 years, she worked in New York on a number of accounts including Coca-Cola, IKEA, The History Channel and Moët & Chandon. She has also written for CBS and the Miami Herald. Aimee graduated Cum Laude from Boston University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications and has her Master’s degree in Education from City College of New York. In 2014, she co-authored the book, “From Public School to the Ivy League: How to get into a top school without top dollar resources” and “International Admissions: How to Get Accepted to US Colleges”.
Mandee Heller Adler is Partner of Edit the Work. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with Honors and two degrees- one from the Wharton School and one from the College of Arts and Sciences. She also received an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was selected as a Class Day Speaker. Additionally, she received a fellowship from Rotary International to study at ICADE, a premier business school located in Madrid, Spain. In 2014, she co-authored the book, “From Public School to the Ivy League: How to get into a top school without top dollar resources” and “International Admissions: How to Get Accepted to US Colleges”. She is a Certified Educational Planner, a member of NACAC, the National Association for College Admission Counseling and a professional member of the IECA, the Independent Educational Consultants Association. Prior to starting International College Counselors, Ms. Adler worked as an Investment Banker for Goldman, Sachs & Co in New York. She later was the Co-Founder of HerDollar, Inc, which she sold to Siebert Financial Corp (NASDAQ: SIEB) in October of 2000, and served as EVP and COO of Women’s Financial Network at Siebert, a fully operational national discount brokerage focused on women.
